Intro to Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp
Mark Cuban Foundation
Founded by Mark Cuban in 2019, the AI Bootcamps Initiative has hosted multiple free camps teaching AI to public school students in Dallas, Texas. This year, the Foundation will be hosting five bootcamps for students across the country with 3 in Dallas.
Our five-day camps are introductory and accessible to any student with an interest in technology. Students do not need any familiarity with computer science or programming to attend. We will be offering three five-day virtual camps this summer with 20 youth per camp. The sessions are being hosted by Walmart, Elevate and Headstorm.
Our curriculum teaches both concepts and skills. Over the course of five half-days, students learn what AI is and isn't, where they already interact with AI in their own lives, the ethical implications of AI systems, and much more. Students also learn how to use Microsoft's cloud computing tools to build their own AI applications.
Our curriculum covers topics including Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Vision.
We are accepting Dallas-area students now for our Summer 2020 Bootcamps.
