The Star-Bellied Sneetches treated the Plain-Bellied Sneetches differently. In this activity, you will roleplay as the different types of Sneetches.
Left Out
Recommended supplies: a friend or family member, coin
- Flip a coin. The person who wins the coin toss is a Star-Bellied Sneetch and the person who loses is a Plain-Bellied Sneetch.
- For 30 seconds, act like the Sneetches did in the story. One of the Sneetches is snobbish and the other is not.
- After you have done that, switch roles.
- Talk with your partner about how this activity felt. How did it feel to be snobbish? How did it feel when someone was snobbish towards you?
- Talk about how the Sneetches could have treated each other better.
